omg this was so helpful to read!! thank you for sharing it!! Iām v quickly realizing Iām an ideal patient for ketamine and am so fucking ready to feel all that neuroplasticity and hopefully like actually feel softness instead of terror in my body all the time bc yea C-PTSD and central sensitization and dysautonomia and chronic pain in a neurodivergent body can be a bitch
I v much enjoyed your memes btw and am sending all the good vibes your way šāØ
Thank you for sharing this. Iām contemplating low-dose lozenge ketamine sessions with my therapist for all of the reasons you recount in your own journey. It is invaluable to read first hand experiences. Especially since Iāll have a better idea of what after care will be like! Wishing you the most easeful healing possible <3
Hi Jess! Thanks for responding. Ive heard the at home lozenges are a little bit gentler. I still recommend having someone alongside to help trip-sit, which is what I did for a friend of mine before I embarked on the journey myself. Iāll write more about the individual process in a larger essay, but these are definitely my experiences through infusion. The best thing I can tell people is to just take it easy and know that youāll have to keep things as gentle and easy for yourself as possible during the process!
