Hi sweaty croutons & dear friends,
I want to share something deeply personal with you.
Midwest Love Fest: A Journey of Connection and Transformation
I've always believed in the power of community and connection. From personal experiences navigating the complexities of relationships and identity, I've found solace and strength in sharing stories and spaces that embrace diversity.
I'm thrilled to invite you to the Midwest Love Fest in Indianapolis on August 17, 2024. It's an event that promises to be more than just a festival; it's a transformative experience where love, acceptance, and understanding come together in beautiful harmony. 🌈

From Poly Poly Oxen Free to Loving Without Boundaries
In case you missed it, I recently had the wildest adventure on Poly Poly Oxen Free as the proverbial 'Catch'—a role I wasn’t prepared for! My spouse prepared a slide deck and pitched me to a pool of participants who came out to compete for my affection. Out of three participants, I ended the show with four potential dates. And yes, an audience member hit on me the entire time. It was as chaotic as it was exhilarating. 😂 (In true chaotic neutral fashion, all now have my number.) 10/10 would recommend as a way to dip my toe back into the dating pool, but also a spectacular alternative to the apps.
But that’s not all: I had the incredible honour of being featured on Kitty Chambliss' podcast, Loving Without Boundaries. We delved into community building, non-monogamy, and the importance of representation and marginalization. If you haven’t listened, it’s a conversation brimming with raw honesty and heartfelt insights.
A Literary Exploration of Identity
Finally, I'm humbled to share that my flash creative non-fiction piece about navigating the healthcare system as a fat, disabled, queer, and Othered person was published in the literary magazine Vast Chasm. Writing this piece was both cathartic and revealing, and I hope it resonates with you as much as it did with me.
Thank you for being a part of this journey. Let's continue to embrace our stories, celebrate our identities, and build this community together.
